A domain alias allows different domain names to direct to a single domain address. Domain aliases let users access the same site through different addresses.
For example, your domain is domain.com, but you want users to have an address of example.com, create example.com as the alias for domain.com. Sending mail to user@example.com is the same as sending to user@domain.com.
A domain alias is a domain name just like your primary domain name. You must own the domain name and verify your ownership before you can add it as an alias.
To create a domain alias
Go to Configure>Domains and select the domain.
In the gear icon, select Edit.
Enter the full domain alias name.
In the Target Domain field start to type the domain name. The domains that match your text display. Select the domain.
Click OK.
The domain alias is listed in the Navigation pane under Domains and in the domain Content pane. The Description column shows that it is an alias to a domain.
